Yesterday we went over to our "older friends" house per Avery. Their names are the Brandt's, and they are special and dear friends to us. They have four children ages 8-14, and the kids just think they are the coolest. We had a wonderful time going on a boat ride, and playing in the lake/beach area. I, as always enjoy the talk time with Deanna (their mother), she is full of wisdom, advice, and is a godly mentor to me. Well, the kids got the greatest surprise when John gave them all of his old rescue heroes. Wow, what special and wonderful gifts they are. The kids have been playing with them non stop (they are playing with them now even as I write this). Gotta love those special toys that are passed down.
